Letters of Love

"We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.  He who does not love his brother abides in death... By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.  And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."—I John 3:14,16

Love is the universal language; it is the greatest need in human relationship.  Unfortunately, its can also be the most neglected need, which results in heartbreak and painful experiences.

The basic theme of John's letter is "fellowship" with a God of light, love, and life.  True fellowship is impossible without a relationship; there can be no true relationship without love.  And there can be no true love without God.  That may raise a question by many whose perspective and perception of love is contrary to God’s perspective, which is clearly stated in His Word. It is God's command that we love one another.  And what better place to start than to let others know they are loved, unconditionally.

Letters of Love are written to communicate sincere love and affection to the readers.  Whether it’s family members,  brothers and sisters in Christ, or anyone you're in intimate relationship with, we must share our love for one another.  After all, Jesus said that our love for one another is how the world would know that we are His disciples.
